Parents / Guardians Code of Conduct

The Parents / guardians of players must abide by these laws of the conduct whenever they attend a match.  Failure to do so will result in their being banned from attending such matches.

Parents or guardians of players MUST accept all decisions made by the manager(s), coach(es) and match officials without question or protestation.

Parents/guardians of players MUST accept their child's and their child's team success, failure, victory and defeat with good grace and without excessive display of emotion.

Parents/guardians of players must not unfairly criticise, disagree, belittle or discredit a player of their own or any other club.

Parents/guardians of players shall not use foul and abusive language which includes, racist, sexist or any form of discrimination nor gestures likely to cause offence or incite others.

Parents/guardians of players must not pass comment in the media or public domain that might cause offence to others or bring their club or the game of Association Football into disrepute.

Parents/guardians of players must agree to stand well away from the playing area during matches, so as not to impede the smooth running of the game.  Failure to comply with this rule will result in a ban from the surrounding area of play.

Parents/guardians of players must not step onto the astro playing areas at training otherwise the surface will become damaged, this is at the request of SWFC.

Parents/guardians of players must abide by the rules and regulations as determined by their individual club.

Players Code of Conduct

The players must abide by the laws of the game, the rules of the Football Association and the rules of the relevant leagues and association that they participate in.

Players MUST accept all decisions made by their manager(s) / coaches(es) and match officials without question or protestation.

Players MUST accept success, failure, victory and defeat with good grace and without excessive display of emotion.

Players must not unfairly criticise, disagree, belittle or discredit a player of any other club.

Players shall not use foul and abusive language, which includes racist, sexist or any other form of discrimination nor gestures likely to cause offence or incite others.

Players must not pass comment in the media or public domain that might cause offence to others or bring their club or the game of Association Football into disrepute.

The players must all times favourably promote their club, Women's and Girl's Football.

The player must abide by the rules and regulations as determined by their individual club.

Coaches Code of Conduct

All coaches should comply with the laws of the game, the rules of the FA, the rules of any competition which they take part in.  They should not encourage or invite any person, including players and officials of the club to act in breach of the game but should take all reasonable steps that they comply with them.

All coaches should use their best endeavours to ensure that they undertake a fair and effective disciplinary policy applicable to players and other persons under their control and that it is applied consistently.

All coaches should take reasonable steps to ensure that players and other persons under their control accept and observe the authority and decisions of all officials.

All coaches should take all possible steps to promote the reputation of the FA and to prevent it being brought into disrepute.

All coaches should respect the rights, dignity and worth of every person and their ultimate right to be treated equally and sensitivity within the context of their activity and ability regardless of gender, ethnic origin, culture, sexual orientation, religion or political affiliation.

All coaches should place the well being and safety of their players above all other considerations, including the development of performance.

All coaches should cooperate fully with other specialists in the best interest of the player.

Coaches and volunteers should not transport players to and from training, without parents/carers being present.

Only female staff will be allowed into the changing area while players are in a state of undress.

All medical treatment will be undertaken in the attendance of a female coach or parent/carer if the player needs to be moved to a separate medical room.

No coach/staff member should embark in a one to one discussion with an individual player unless in full view of other coaches and/or players.

No coach/staff member should enter into a personal relationship with a player.

All coaches/staff must never advocate or condone the use of prohibited drugs or other banned performance enhancing substances.

All coaches/staff will agree to adhere to the Code of Conduct.
